Default Eggs in the microwave

Have you guys ever done Egg Beaters in the micro? I'm trying to think of a Super fast breakfast I was thinking either getting a micro egg poacher and doing one for me and oen for DH or doing eggs/egg beaters in a dish
any thoughts on texture
I just hate cold left over quiche
Thanks,
Kier

I do it all the time. I've got a microwave omelet maker I picked up at Walmart. I put eggs/egg beaters into both halves, cook it for about 1.5 min, and then add my cheese or veggies, close it, and cook it for a few more seconds (usually around 30).

My microwave is quite powerful, so you might have to cook yours longer. The texture isn't quite the same as cooking them on the stove, it's tougher, but it's not that bad once you get used to it.

My microwave has a scrambled egg setting in the breakfast options. I put EggBeaters in a pyrex cup and tell it how many eggs and then stir when it says. It works really well although in phase 2, I normally go with my microwaved oatmeal instead.

I take two eggs and a tablespoon of water, whip it up with a fork and microwave about 60 seconds, they will not be tough.Be sure and cover the bowl as egg will shoot all over the place if not covered.
