Default P1 W2 Motivation

Hey, I'm back at the beach. I've done good maintaining the loss from the last round, but haven't made much headway in the last month. I've got to get serious, my boyfriend gets back from his deployment in 45 days. I figured the support here has always been a great motivating factor. I just wanted to check in to say hey.

Quick question: Does anyone have any suggestions on things I can drink as a substitute for vegetable juice? I was looking at V-8 plash, but I think it's still fruit juice.

Hi Kay, you're in Okinawa, wow! Do you not like V-8 or tomato juice? I drink some every day just because it's an easy way to get in a veggie serving, and I'm a little veggie challenged. But if you don't like it and you like to eat veggies, I think that's fine. You don't have to find a substitute. I sometimes make mine into a Virgin Mary with a stick of celery in it for a change of pace. The V-8 splash is good, but it does have fruit juice in it, so it's not on-plan. If you're trying to follow the book menus exactly, I'd say just substitute a serving of veggies for the V-8, and drink some water.

Thanks, I think I'll do the extra vegetable thing... I just can't stomach V-8. This time around on phase 1 is alittle more difficult, but I'm almost 1/2 through week 2!!
