I'd like to join this board. I need accountability as far as the exercise. I've struggled, like many here, with my weight. I am in the pre-diabetes level with my glucose range, and that really is frightening. At this point it is still reversable--a wake up call for my lifestyle choices.
Thank you for the warm welcome. I appreciate it. Are we required to post our exercise and weight loss every week? I am trying to stay away from the numbers on the scale for awhile: I get discouraged pretty fast. Is it alright if post my weight every two or 4 weeks. I can get too obsessed with the numbers. I need to focus on building the habits and the results will come.
Tonight I had a friut and vegtable run, instead of a fast food run. I need to keep that up.
I'm not new to 3FC but am pretty new to the 100lb club, the women here are amazing and it sounds like this is the perfect place for you to begin! Good luck and I look forward to hearing more about your journey!
You are welcome to use the site for as much or as little support as you need. Post as frequently or infrequently as fits with what you are comfortable with! You can post about exercise and weight loss/gain, or not -- it's completely up to you.
I know what you mean about getting obsessed with numbers. It's so easy to do! Great job on getting fruits and veggies instead of fast food! That was the first thing I cut out and it was the best thing I ever did for myself.
Looking forward to getting to know you better! I'm sure you'll love it here.

Like CC already said, you can post your exercise, your weight or your whatever as frequently or as infrequently as YOU want. Whatever works for YOU. That's what this is all about. Finding the right thing for yourself.
I think focusing on building good habits is a phenomenal idea. Great going on the vegetable run. I like that!
Having a father who suffers from diabetes, I'm painfully aware of what can happen with that condition. I'm so glad that you're taking your diagnosis seriously and working on your health. Post as often as you want--during good times and particularly doing those pesky bad times when you need the support. We're here for you!
