Default I need some buddies

I feel like I am on this journey so many times by myself. It stinks to feel alone. I need people who get it to talk to. I need someone who will not judge me for another failed attempt.
I want to find community.
Hopefully I have come to the right place.
I am a stay at home mom to 3 great kids. I am almost 38 and have been struggling with this for what seems like way too long. I keep looking for the answers. ANd it seems even when I have them that I sabotage it.
I want to win this battle.

Smile Hi

I too am looking for support. I am 10 years older, 4" shorter but about the same weight and the same weight loss. It's kind of funny that the motto that you posted is very similar to the motto I have hanging in my classroom. My goal is not to perfectly preserve this nearly 1/2 century old body but to simply be healthy and give myself every opportunity to do the things that I currently do not have the energy and stamina to do. I am brand new to this site and am still learning how to post and navigate.
Oh, and I too have 3 kids, all grown and living on their own. I have three wonderful grandsons and two granchildren on the way. I am an energetic granny and the kids have lots of fun with me and I want it to stay that way. Good luck and Godspeed!

Wink Howdy from across the pond!

I am jumping on that old health bandwagon again and hopefully this time I won't fall off, bang my head on a rock and wake up to find myself full of cookies and cakes again (shudder). I live in Glasgow, Scotland and hopefully we can support each other. What diet(s) are you ladies trying?

Hi everyone,
I just registered this morning and seem to be feeling my way around the site. I am not very good at navigating through the site. I know that I posted my first message to the wrong board. I sure would like any help that any one can give...whether it be for weight lose or posting on the site. Thanks for any help any of you can give. I look forward to chatting and working together on achieving our goals.

Hi everyone,

I am also looking for support. Up until last week when I got on the scale and actually acknowledged that I had gotten so big I was in total denial. I just don't know where to start! This seems like such a huge challenge. I have a very busy life (which I know isn't an excuse) but man I sure liked to use it. I have 3 wonderful kids (11, 10 and 7), I work full time and go to school full time. I just want to say that I am looking forward to supporting each other.

I am excited to find some friends along the way. I talk to my husband, but he does not get it.
I need to find balance in my life and look for the right way to do things. I was at a dinner tonight with 3 very slim chics. And I thought, "I used to be this way." And I can be again. I think the key is believing that. And I think that for a long time now I have not.

I was once in your shoes too.....went back to school full time, worked full time and had three kids....2 boys and a girl. Mine were a little older than yours are now when I went back. It gets tough at times but hang in there the rewards are great.
