Well, I had planned to go to Curves first thing, but I'm running behind again. I could go later, but then I'll miss the gang I normally work out with. I know, excuses excuses. Next week, when I get back to my regular schedule again, I promise to get back into my exercise routine again, too!
So, how is everyone going to stay cool today? Thank goodness for air conditioning!
Not easy to stay cool...I hate thinking of what my electricity bill will be this month with air running 24/7...but at least we have it, so won't complain!
Cottage, I used to go to a Curves here when they first opened. Didn't care for it at all (of course all Curves are not the same) A couple of women who worked there drove me nuts.
Nothing much on my plate today so far. I'm going in the kitchen in a bit to start marinating some chicken, then some housework/gym then grocery store..same old, same old.
92% humidity again today and poor Kevin is going to start jacking up my barn this morning! Claire, Doug and I sorted and moved stuff away from the east wall so he could start. It was horribly hot and dirty out there! After cleaning up we had a great dinner in the cool of the house. Great friends! I had a chicken dish in the freezer, did rice for them and had beans from the garden so it was a cinch!
The garbage is at the road, Lucy actually ate this morning and I may get to town for my glasses this afternoon. I want to buy a new toaster too as mine croaked this morning. I may be buying a plunger too as my kitchen sink is blocked.
What an exciting life - not!
Right now I'm off to the gym and regretting drinking martinis!
I got a whole 5 1/2 hours of sleep last night between friends being here and Chester waking me up this morning. I decided instead of going back to sleep to work on my freelance since it was undisturbed time. I still have a good 2 1/2 hours I have to work on that before Friday, and with company who knows when that might happen! I still can't believe I am leaving the country on Saturday, I don't feel ready at all.
I have got to work hard today and trying to finish up one of the two projects I really wanted to have done before I left. I don't think #2 is going to get finished. Somehow Max Lucado takes preference over a 20-year-old deacon manual! People keep throwing reprints at me too...don't they know I'm BUSY!!??
On top of this i haven't felt very well for the last 2 days...I think I am allergic to the extreme heat. One of those bank signs said 104 when I was leaving work yesterday. Yikes!! Anyway, I am nursing my coffee this morning and trying to be healthy. I will move onto tea after this cup. I found this absolutely wondering chamomile almond that is just heavenly.
Morning. Not a whole lot of time to post. Just wanted to pop in and see how everyone is this morning. I have inventory today and I'm kind of doing it on my own. Ugh. I have someone running a register, otherwise it's just me, scanning away. Ye-haw.
Slept ok last night, not sure why. That's two nights in a row I've slept semi-well. All the prayers must be helping. I'm still not sure what I'm doing, so I still need the prayers, but at least I've slept two nights in a row. I think my body just couldn't take much more.
Well, time to hop in the shower and get my booty to work to scan all day. I'm going to be sore tonight. I loathe inventory. I have another one next Wed, too. Ughhh. At least next Wednesday isn't too bad. Talk to you girls soon!

I have completed Phase one did great lost 10.5 lbs. Then came Phase 2
not so good I need to get on track again. I am walking 3 times a week for 1 hour. I am not making good food choices. I think I may just start over and do Phase 1 again. Any thoughts? You guys have done so good so any advice I would be happy to hear!! Thanks for listening and allowing me in to your community.

On the NSV front, today as I was stretching in the mirror, I think I saw an ab muscle! I think the funniest thing about losing weight is how strange your body becomes to you because it's no longer its old self...anyone else have the same experience?

first week 5 POUNDS LOST I am so proud of myself. The first few days were hard without my sweet bites, but now that I have found the peanut butter cups I know I can handle this.
I am looking forward to this week, I can't wait until I can add a piece of fruit in, I never thought I would say that. Enough about me, hope everyone is doing well today. I really am enjoying this site, it has helped so much.
Well I am off to work, I think on the way I will be patting myself on the back.

Cottage I have had the hardest time getting myself revved up into an exercise routine. Probably why I have only lost 5 pounds this summer.
Spot on plan yesterday, so with TOM visiting, I am back to my ticker weight. I would like to lose another pound or two before heading back to work on the 20th. The beginning of the year is so stressful, but other than cheating here or there over the summer, I haven't blown it for days on end at any point.
Anyhow, I need to get ready, we are heading to school for the morning. I would feel guilty dragging the kids up there, but they have SO much fun!!! They play hide and go seek in the classrooms, run around like crazy, and have a blast.
I am back girls.... the dentist was fun NOT. Couple little pings as he called them so made apps for them to be fixed, then it will be a trip to the ortho for the youngest.
