Underwear incident
Thought you could all use a laugh
I'm *SO* glad I wear pants!!! I was walking to the cafeteria to get my salad, and on the way back, I can feel my underwear starting to fall down around my hips! It's making it hard to walk because I'm afraid that they will fall even more. I had a salad, and didn't want to go into the bathroom with food, so I had to make my way back to my cube and then "run" to the bathroom to pull them back up!
I just bought them, and they were tight about 2 months ago!
Just as an aside, I took my overly large undies (the ones that can hang in there... ) and threw them in a drawer for TOM. Not only do I not care about them getting messed up, but they seem more comfortable when wearing...um...'feminine accessories,' you know?
Your story was hilarious though, Mare! Congrats...get thee to Vicky's immediately for some emergency panties!
Laurie, I totally understand. I have been decluttering everything as of late, and realized just recently that I tossed all my TOM undies! So now I have to be REALLY careful.
Here's some advice for the other issue: buy thongs. They won't fall down.
I was afraid to click on this thread when I saw the title!
Good one!
Your story reminded me of the time I was coming out of McDonald's (I know!) and a young guy was in front of me with his hands full of bags. He had those BIG pants on that slide down all the time but his hands were full so he couldn't pull them up. He was walking with his knees farther and farther apart, but the shorts just kept coming down. I was dying and watching to see if he made it to the car before they came all the way down. Fortunately he had boxers on underneath. We were meant to see the top of them I guess, but not all of them!!

Well, I finally did it - This is a profile image of me. Scary huh? I'm an ironing board in the back. Pants sag off of me - that's why I usually wear a jacket to cover by lack of butt! LOL
Don't worry, Mare--everything will eventually fit together. It's like going through puberty again, you know, where like nothing on your body really corresponded to anything else and you kept bumping into stuff because you didn't know where your body was? Just like that!
