I don't care for them but they are filling. The bacon ranch has way too much bacon and the only lite dressing they have here is a balsamic vinagrette which is way too strong for me. If I know I have to go there I bring my own dressing or a turkey sandwich.

I've had the asian salad and the southwestern salad, each with grilled chicken. I did have their salad dressing (Newman's own ginger sesame with the asian salad and a light ranch with the southwestern). They were very filling and the dressings were definitely not bad calorie wise. I only needed about half of the dressings.

I generally do NOT like Mcds, but these salads were great.

I agree, the southwestern salad with grilled chicken was (in my humble opinion) delicious! I only used half the dressing, same as jtammy, and it was a fairly healthy meal. I haven't tried any of their other salads.

McD's does a good job with their nutrition facts online, if you ever need to look the info up. If you have 5 minutes before you go to lunch someday you can pop into their site and decide what you're having in advance.

Their salads are actually very good, there is 2 servings of veggies in one of them as well. My personal favorite is the bacon ranch one, without dressing. There is enough chicken, cheese, etc. in it, that I don't need any dressing.

The asian one is my FAV!! The edamame in it is awesome and the sesame ginger dressing is light...low in calories and tastes fabulous! I haven't tried any of the others because I always want the asian one. It comes with almonds but I don't use those and I definitly don't need all the dressing.

The southwestern one was so good and tasted so high calorie. I was in a bind and didn't have the calorie counts with me and ordered that one without knowing what it was going to be like. When I tasted it , I took off some of the cheese and tortilla crisps because I was afraid they were adding more calories than I had left. When I got home and looked up the calorie count, I had to laugh. I could have eaten all of the cheese and tortilla crisps and still stayed in my range.
