Default official introduction thread

Hi All,
Here is my official introduction thread. I've been an on and off lurker but it's time to dive in and become more accountable.

I'm 48, an American living in Australia and plan to lose 100 pounds to become fit and healthy. I've been exercising quite regularly since late April and have been tracking my food for the last 6-7 weeks with fitday (keeping between 1400-1700 calories/day). Weight loss has been slow (7 pounds so far).

No specific 'diet' - more an undieting way of eating. I think I've been on every diet out there - it's time for life changes - not following a diet plan until I reach a magic number on the scale.

Think that's enough for now! I'm really happy to be here and looking forward to getting to know people here.

Cheers-

Welcome to 3fc, Like yourself I was a lurker for some while before I decide to take the plunge. But I am so glad I did since coming on the boards I have found the support that I have needed to keep me on track.

on losing 7lbs that is a good start in the right direction. You may feel that the weight loss is slow but at least you are losing. So that is a really good thing. I would suggest that you took your body measurement as sometime them pesky scales don't shift but you maybe pleasantly surprised by the body measurement.

for the rest of your weight loss journey.
