Default Sandwich grill - useless or useful?

http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/prod...3382352&RN=692

I make little omelet muffin cups in my oven which is not very fun during summer I don't like having to turn the oven on to make a couple muffin cups. I don't like making too many in advanced either.

So I saw the sandwich grill at BB&B and thought maybe I could make my muffin cups in there. Veggies, egg whites, spices and I should have a quick meal. I also use my muffin molds to make oatmeal/protein powder muffins and I'm thinking I could also use the sandwich grill for that as well.

So has anyone actually used a sandwich grill? How does it cook eggs? Would you classify it as useful?

I had one of these and I loved it. When I moved to an apartment with a smaller kitchen, I didn't use it as much (not much counterspace, and out of sight out of mind, I guess), so I eventually threw it out (Still kicking myself, because it was fun and fast).

I have one and they're great for making sandwiches with the ingredients sealed inside. You can make sandwiches out of just about anything and grill them up and have little sealed sections to pull apart and eat.

I've never tried eggs on mine, though. That's an interesting thought.

Well I decided to go for it...

I made an egg white omelet for dinner and it was delicious! I'm thinking I'll make some egg white omelets for snacks and what not. Oh and I made the omelet before reading the instructions. The instructions say add ingredients then add eggs. I did it the other way around and ended up with a little cheesy mess but it was easy to clean.
