Hi Harriet, Welcome. I think its great that you want to start living healthier. I think its important to make healthy lifestyle changes that you can continue as you get older. Just remember not to go on a "diet" that may ruin your metabolism and make it harder to lose weight later in life. Your still young and growing, so starting to make some healthier food choices and getting a little exercise should be all you need to help you get and stay healthier. good luck to you. I hope you fin this site helpfull.

Welcome and congratulations on starting a healthy lifestyle. You are wise to start while you are young. You sound very mature for your age.

Welcome, Harriet! It sounds like you have the right idea by getting rid of the junk in your diet! Keep up the great work and you'll be well on your way to a healthy rest of your life!

oh wow... harriet nice meeting u. but u shouldnt think when u turn 15 ur gonna stay on that weight forever. that's very faulty. but anyways we're on the same boat kind of except for age.. i'm 23 but i'm also 5'1, my heaviest was 143... now 130.. and i also find it harder to lose now! Since ur still growing, don't go on a hardcore diet, i think u can have a cheat meal maybe one day in a week, so don't try to resist cravings but to just eat a little bit of it or portion it.
