Does it have to be Micky D's? If so, start planning now by looking over their
nutritional facts online.
At McD's, I get the southwest chicken salad with grilled chicken, no tortilla strips and only use about 1/3 the dressing. If you get the tortilla strips and use all the dressing, it's 420 calories, 15g fat, 7g fiber, 31g protein and 41g carbs. It's very filling, too.
McD's also has a grilled chicken at 420 calories, 10g fat, 3 fiber, 32g protein and 51g carbs.
If I am in a situation where fast food is necessary (social/time constraints/travel), my fav is the Mandarin chicken salad at Wendys without the noodles or almonds and only 1/3 the dressing -- works out to about 265 calories, 9.5g fat, 4g fiber, 22g protein, 36g carbs.
Another good choice at Wendy's is
ultimate chicken grill at 320 calories, 7g fat, 2g fiber, 28g protein, 36g carbs.
Another strategy is to order a kids meal if you MUST have a burger & fries, but frankly, I like the salads and the grilled chicken better.
