Hi, I am Debbie, I am addicted to food and am a Born again believer. I struggle daily with this addiction, it is a battle and as I allow the Lord to help me He is showing me things that are frightening. I am looking for fellowship as I journey with God back to my past as He unveils the root cause for my addiction. I want to be free from this addiction, not just survive and battle it. I want it gone and I know the answer lies with Him. I look forward to meeting and sharing.

Hi Debbie! Glad you've found the forum! When I'm down on myself and wanting to eat to make myself feel better I try to remember that I have to keep my body healthy to do God's work. That gives me a greater cause and reason for resisting temptation. It's a hard road!

Thank you Kara for the welcome and kind words - I agree God's work is hindered by my addictions. I am excited to see Him work and reveal all he has planned for me. It is nice to meet you and I look forward to getting to know you. I have to figure out how to move about the site and use it.

You guys made me think of something. When we say Grace it goes "bless it to our bodies for Your use" ... I'll bet a bunch of us don't think of it that way???
