Default well well well

so i sprained my ankle and was gonna be good. And then three weeks passed - and I wasn't. And now I am up. PAST the 200 mark - a mark I have not been past in a while - I think it's like 201 or 202 - I don't remember, I got so sad on thursday when I weighed in with my trainer after not being there for a month. I feel ill, and am def fatter, but need to get into shape again. I visit my family in a month - and my mom gave me money for a trainer - and now I won't be able to show her it is good to get healthy - or "easy" to want to excersize. Granted my foot was more swollen than ever before (I even had bruising in my toes) but still! 8 pound gain! Now I have to go back the other way - and get seriously in shape. I do!

i ran for the first time yest since spraining - didn't do horribly - will go again in a few minutes. oh and I'm sick again - urgh! Not too sick, just a lot of nose blowing. alas.

B

Aw I'm sorry about your ankle!
Just stay strong, follow the doctor's orders and you'll be back to your regular routine in no time
I'm sure your mom will understand that you had a minor setback, it seems like you've lost a few lbs anyway and I'm sure she will be able to see that!

I'm sorry to hear about your gain! Take care of that ankle, though - I sprained mine badly last year, and it was worth the wait to heal it properly!

I agree with the previous poster - your mum will understand. Plus, you can still talk to her about the weight you have lost, and how much motivation you have to get back at it as soon as possible.

I'm sure that once you explain to your mom why you haven't lost weight she will understand. Try and focus on your calorie intake and controlling your weight that way. I'm sure those 8 pounds will come off easier then you think.
