I'm scared to measure inches. I don't know why. It seems more intimidating than pounds.

me too Kara,
I had to force myself to face that scale number. I don't know if I could take all those other numbers. I'm sure it's a good way to track progress though.

I measured myself before I got back on the wagon this time around. I haven't measured myself yet because I've only lost like 10 lbs, but I'm down. May as well, right?

Bust: 1
Waist: 1.5
Hips: 0.5
Thighs: 0.5 (each)

Total: 4 inches lost since 6/25/07

Not too bad, actually! I wasn't expecting that much!

Way to go Lisa, I know that everyone says that their clothes feel loser but the scale is not showing anything. I thought this might be a good idea.

It's a good idea and when you have it set up, I'll make it a sticky. This is a really busy forum so the participating chickies will be in charge. Let us know what you decide.
(I'm not opting out on this one - just have too much to do already!)

I'm in! My trainer measured me this week and I'm anxious to see how I'm doing next week!

We can do it monthly just like the monthly weight loss target. We don't have to have a set amount that we want to lose just something to keep track on the inches lost.

Sounds good to me! I'll start recording it on the fridge with my weight loss and measure every 4 weeks. What a great idea, LC!

Lisa- I have started a new thread, Ruth will sticky it as soon as we get started. So you can keep track on here as well as your fridge.

Please add your measurements to the thread entitled "Keeping Track of Our Inches Lost" which is a Sticky above.
