Thumbs up Finally!

I've been doing SO good today!! I'm so excited, that I'm finally having a good day, and staying completely on plan.

I just hope the last half of the day goes as good as the first half!!

Unfortunatly, I had quite a disappointment this morning, when I weighed myself and realized I had gained 2 pounds.
Ohwell, I'm not gonna let it get me down.

It could be the salt from the fast food yesterday, so don't sweat it. I'm so proud of you for sticking to your plan today!! That's awesome! Then it's just a matter of tack on another day, then another, etc...

That could be! I never thought of the salty food I had yesterday being the cause! That plus my TOM, I bet thats it!!

I went a liiiiiiiiitttle bit over this eveing, and had about 300 more calories than I was supposed to, but I'm almost thinking thats not a bad thing, because I felt really hungry/deprived all day today, so I'm thinking I need to up my calorie limit anyway.

Awesome job! It feels so good when you stick to your plan! It always makes me wonder why it took so long for me to do it, if it feels so darn good! Keep up the great work! TOM always makes the numbers on the scale suck...so don't get too discouraged.

Lalique,
Good job! I agree that it would be a good idea to up your calorie limits. I'm at 1600 per day and am losing 1.5-2.5 lbs per week very consistently. I think that 1200 is too low for you.

Keep up the good work!

I am glad you had a good day, and I agree that there is such a thing as too low in calories. I haven't done any research or anything, but do think that some people can function at lower calores( 1200-1300) but others need more. When I stay that low in calorie intake I usually make myself eat some fruit late at night so I don't feel so sluggish.

Yah, I've been trying to eat veggies and fruit most of the time, and use up most of my calorie intake at meal times. I'm gonna see how well today goes with eating 1200 calories, if I feel like crap this afternoon/evening I'm going to up it 1500, I think yesterday was just weird for me because it was first day back at work in 4 months and I was the only one working, and I had a really bad headache by the time I was off shift.

So I'll see if today is better.
