I would say it varies too greatly to just give a blanket statement. If you weight 300 pounds when you start, you could lose 15 the first month, if you weight 150, i would think more like 5-7 a month. But then you have to take into account how poorly you were eating before? How much were you exercising before? Versus now? I am thinking for any plan that works, the average is 2 pounds a week, with it being less and less the closer you get to goal.
