Default New to running?

Me too.

Right now I'm following this program to work myself up to 30 minute jogs 3 times a week.

I think my problem with running before was pushing myself too far and too fast. This program is the perfect way to ease your way into it.

I'm posting the link here for anyone else interested in following it.

Who knows? Maybe one day I'll actually enjoy running.

Good luck, I did the couch to 5k program myself, and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. If you take your time and don't push yourself, I'm sure you'll succeed. You may never actually enjoy running itself ( I still have mixed feeling), but I'm sure you'll enjoy the sense of accomplishment (and relief) that can be had with every first (1, 2, 3, etc. mile jog).

Are you running outside or on a treadmill?

Maybe I'll try it. I mean I really hate running but lately Ive been thinking that it would be nice to feel like I actually could run. I'm going to check this out but I know that I am definately going to have to take my time.
Maybe some day you'll see me in the runners forum

Thanks for the advice...I'm going to go check out that thread now.

I'm running outside for now...I'll probably head into the gym once it gets cold out. I love the scenery.
