Hi and welcome to 3FC. Yes, like Lily said this is a GREAT place for advice, support and encouragement.

You've certainly had your share of weightloss ups and downs and well up. Like soooo many of us here.

It sounds to me as if you need to find something that you can stick with LONGTERM, so that when you do get back down to a comfortable weight for yourself, you're able to stick with it.

Sounds like you've got a pretty decent plan in place for yourself. I couldn't agree with you more about those starchy carbs - a "diet" killer if there ever was one.

As far as buddies go, we're all pretty good pals around here. Good luck on your journey. I look forward to hearing more from you.

Hey and Welcome! I'm fairly new here myself. I'm originally from the States, though I have been living in India for 11 years now. What part of Asia are you living in?

As Lily and Robin said, there are lots of great folks here. I'm just getting to know them myself. I'm finding posting very inspirational.

Like the others above I agree that this is a great place for support, comfort, inspiration and motivation and that you will love it here. Remember you can do this and I am sure you will end up with more than one buddy on here!!

You are in the right place for support and encouragement. This board offers inspiration but also lots and lots of information. If someone here doesn't have the answer for you then they know where you can get the answer

We are all "buddies" here and I have found there is almost always someone here. I have been up as a late as 3AM and there was someone here! Let's you know that YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
