Default I Want Cereal

I want to eat some cereal so bad. I am having a huge attack right now!!! EEEEK! Talk me down!

I'm only 36 hours into phase one... this is not good. I have stayed 100% on plan EXCEPT when I put bbq sauce onto my son's plate at lunch today, some got on my finger (like a few drops) and I licked it off. Then realized and thought DANG but it was too late. Surely that is not enough sugar to set off such a craving?

Please tell me to stay away from the cereal cabinet! I think I am going to wake up the baby and feed the kids so we can go out for a walk, just to be away from the food!

No CEREAL... and why are you giving your son sugar laden bbq sauce?

Take a walk, clean a bathroom, do some yard work, first drink a big glass of water. You can do it! Win this time and then next time you can look back and remember this victory and the next and next.

Don't do it Heather! Eat some cheese or something legal. The first 2 - 3 days were the worst for me with those cravings. Then they went away. You're almost there! If you can hang on for another day at most, you'll probably stop craving those things too. Your idea of getting out is a good one. When some bad food is calling to me - something the kids or DH has or something in the cabinet, I throw it away or make someone else eat it fast. Or I get myself away from it. Don't worry, in a couple of weeks you'll be able to add cereal if you want it. And those two weeks go by really quickly, believe it or not.

The First 3 days are always the hardest, but you can do it. Step away from the cereal and grab some nuts, a piece of cheese and by tomorrow you will be so thankful that you didn't do it.

Keep up the good work!!!!!

Yea! Good work! Sorry I missed your post but I had to congratulate you on making it through. Day 3 was the absolute worst for me. Hope you're over the hump and moving on!

This has been bothering me since yesterday...

I came here for diet support, not criticism of my parenting. You think I don't second-guess every decision I made as it is? I really don't need these types of comments.
