Default Are there any events you're looking forward to as a slimer you?

I can't wait till homecoming when I can get my dress! However, the main event I'm trying to get fit for is ACen, an anime convention near me. (GEEK PRIDE!! ^.^ ) It wont be until spring 2008, but still, I wanna cosplay (dressing like a fictional character) as Axel from Kingdom Hearts, and even though he's a guy, he has an hourglass shape. I can't wait to go see my much slimmer (blah) sister who lives in Hawaii. It will be so great to shop and find clothes in 'normal' stores and sizes and not be 'the fat one', lol!

I'm looking forward to my wedding! Hee hee, I'm not even engaged yet, but I love knowing that this is a forever thing for me - once I lose the weight it's never coming back. It's nice knowing that I won't have to stress about losing the weight in order to fit into a dream dress or anything. I imagine there'll be lots on my plate without that!

Seriously, every time I've attempted to lose weight before it's been for "something" (i.e. grad, someone's wedding, summer, etc.). It NEVER worked. Now, I've set my goal date as my birthday, but that's just to keep me on track. I just enjoy knowing that all future events in my life will be devoid of the stress of thinking I'm too fat to look nice. Does that make sense?

Well...i am hoping to take my girls to the beach in the middle of July for the weekend, so i'd love to feel more comfortable in a bathing suit. And there is this dress from my younger adult days that i'd love to fit into by the middle of july. But all in all...i'd love to dress as something really sexy by Halloween this year. Definately one of my goals. I'd like to wear something really skimpy and sexy and tight. just once i'd like to dress ......well......slutty I guess.

Next summer I want to be wearing a skimpy bikini.....I also want to wear a size 8 dress for my wedding (no, I'm not engaged yet) lol. But like the above poster, I don't want to have to worry about losing weight for my wedding when it DOES come. There will be plenty else to worry about. And I want to have the most beautiful simple dress...I want it to be ME that stands out...not the dress.

I also want to wear something sexy to a halloween party.

I started a job (same workplace, just a different position) a couple of years ago and regained 30 of the 50 lbs. I'd lost. It's been SO embarrassing at work because I know everyone notices (how could they not?). I was always so petite, and now I'm not. Anyway, I teach, so I'd love to lose at least 10 lbs. by the start of the schoolyear. I still won't be as thin as I was when I started the job, but I'll only be about 10 lbs. from that.

My cousin's wedding... the first wedding I've ever been to! It's in December, and its going to be so gorgeous. The groom is really good looking, and I happen to know that he has lots of attractive friends if you know what I mean haha I just want to look good!

Shopping for new clothes. I cannot wait until I love everything I try on rather than having to find the jeans that just ok.

My DD's wedding in Feb. It's a Disney Cruise of all things. I want to be able to feel half way good about being in a picture.

I haven't lost any weight in quite a while. I'm hoping that it is because I didn't aggressively workout or anything when I was spending my mom's final days with her.

Now that I'm home, I've worked out just about every day and even twice on some.

Well, there's this birthday party in July that I'm going to. New people and I'm totally psyched! I want to look and feel fabulous. Plus, my own birthday is July 29th, another party to look great for!

We're having a house warming party in August, and inviting some people we haven't seen for a while. I'd like to look fabulous!

I assume my high school will have a 10 year reunion sometime in 2008 so I am gearing towards that. I also want to look good for Christmas photos because I always seem to be missing from them because I am hiding behind the camera. In January I also have a leadership convention I am hoping to attend and I want to wow my team with my new look!
