Default I wandered off the beach this week

I ended up in a cess pool of sugar treats and then feeling crappy cuz I feel lousy when I eat sugar. Funny, I feel crappy if I eat them and felt deprived if I didn't eat them. Hmmm, deprived of what? Feeling crappy? That don't make no sense.

So I finally grabbed a tow rope and was dropped off at the beach again.
I don't think redoing phase I is the answer. To me the answer is to learn what I should/can eat and still lose weight. Redoing phase I to me is like oops I fell off my bike, I better put the training wheels back on. Big deal, I fell off the bike. So I pick myself up, dust myself off and keep going. If I put the training wheels back on I'll never learn to balance myself on the bike.

So anyway, I'm going forward. Gonna keep fruit in my WOE because fruit doesn't cause cravings. Sugar and white flour cause cravings, so they're gone. The craving jury is still out on potatoes, but they may be gone too. I look forward to "eating clean" again.

Sounds like you have the right attitude Watercolor, and I really like
your "bike analogy"! You are doing so well! When I feel myself "slipping"
I tell myself how upset I will be if I "undo" all the good work I have done
so far. That's one of the things I like about "being on the beach", is just
brushing myself off and getting back on plan the next day. That was always
my downfall on the many previous attempts at losing weight........I would blow it one day and just gave up on the whole diet. I love this WOE and it's working well for me. Take it a day at a time........

We CAN do this!!

I think the idea of Phase 1 is to eliminate cravings, and if you already know your triggers and can kick them to the curb without the two week "detox" then by all means, just jump right back in where you were.

I LOVE your first paragraph! I was laughing so hard! I think I'm going to print it out and paste it on my fridge, where I can see it every time I crave some ice cream.
