Default Water retention from sunburn and heat...

Hi all,
Well I worked all weekend in the backyard installing timbers and 6 tons of pea gravel thinking all the exercise would do me great!
I now have a sunburn, my fault forgot sunscreen on Saturday and am retaining a lot of water.
I have always retained in the summer heat but was wondering what you all do to flush the water out, I don't want to be bloated all summer!
Thanks all,
Jean

Water water water!!!! Make sure you get in all of your water, and then some more..

Also, a lot of the ladies here drink hot lemon water.. That seems to really help in flushing water from the system...

You may just have to put up with it for a while.. You're body's trying to protect itself from the damages of the sun, so sometimes it's best to just let it work... But keep drinking that water!!

Autry, I've had the same problem lately. I'm working outside usually several hrs. a day in 90 degree temps. Doing yard work and gardening. I have also had water retention fairly bad. I can tell my hands and forearms are swollen and the scale is up a few lbs. My eating has been on track enough that I should not have gained. Like Dan mentioned drinking a lot of water will help to flush it out. I finally did that yesterday , but Saturday I drank mostly Crystal Lite and it didn't work to flush me out the way the water is working.
