Hi everyone - had a lot of fun this weekend - the weather was great. POP? not so much, but I watched what I ate and I'm only up a pound.
Barb - it's so good to hear from you! I thought about you on your wedding day - looks like it was wonderful!!!! I've always wanted to go to yellowstone, what a gorgeous place. Welcome back to us!

I had 2 bbq's this weekend. Went to one on Saturday, was good for the most part, well except for the handful of potato chips and Bacardi Breezer. Then yesterday I hosted a bbq for family for DD's graduation. Unfortunately, my planning for the day was better than what worked out in reality. Oh well, hopefully the scale will be kind to me today (although probably won't be). Well back on track to a POP day.
Good morning everyone! I hope everyone had a great week end. It was my first week end on the program and I did really good until last night when the family decided to go out for mexican food. I thought I was being good only ordering the spicey chicken soup but when it came out it probably had as many calories/fat as anything else on the menu. Oh well, today is Monday and it starts all over again. Firday afternoon I went for my first appt. after Express and she put me on purple and said that's where I'd stay. Aren't you suppose to move at certain points? Where can I find a list of plans and when they change?
Doing a sympathy TO with Liz today and tomorrow... But I figure I need to do it.. I'm still yo-yoing.. After getting down to 208, I'm back up to 212... And I was SO POP last week... I was so proud of myself for staying on plan while Liz was away... This weekend was not quite POP, but that shouldn't affect my scale so soon, so I'm not sure what the problem is...
Regularity is still fleeting, and that could be the problem.. I finally broke down and bought some medicinal "help", seeing as the fiber isn't cutting it.
My walking partner at the office is finally back full time, now that our seedling sale/tree re-potting process is over so I'm back to walking at lunch.. We usually do about 3 miles... Hopefully this will help..
Also, I have my first real training session tonight at the gym, so here's hoping I start to see some results..
Carrie, it kind of depends on where you start and how much you want to lose, taking into consideration your level of activity and work hours... So it may be that purple is all you need.. If you don't see results in a couple of weeks, ask them to reevaluate.
Good Morning all ! It was a quite weekend here for once.
Did NOTHING and enjoyed it, our next 3 weeks are crazy from start to finish. I won't have time to think of snacking, however I am going to have to plan my meals out so i can take them with me when we go to watch the games. the stands have nachos, hot dogs, popcorn, pretzels, candy and pop.
thats not on my menu and I intend to be good.
I think I scored a deal at COD unless I misunderstood the 5 for 25$..
I set it up to get that "deal" on the muffin tops. last week I said just give me 2 so i don't get tempted to eat them all. then this weekend same woman said what do you want ? I said well I will try the biscotti , give me the carmels, and a muffin top. I had my check book out and was writing out the check and she said you already paid that remember. I said , but.... she said now you have all your 5 for 25$. We are even. she bagged it up and sentme on my way..
I think she UNDER charged me. The bars can not be in that right??? those are 14.00 alone. SHe had me so confused when she did that. I thought ok I guess I thought it was only to get the muffin tops not on all the rest. I think I owe more money and she is the one confused. i am sure I will find out this week when i go to WI.
Morning all. I pretty much sucked this weekend so I am basically starting over on the 5 week meltdown--oh well. i am at my folks so my mom is doing it with me. I can't seem to get my head in the game but I am making another attempt. My sister that just started has already lost a BUNCH of weight and she doesn't weigh much to begin with--you think that would motivate me to get it together but i seemed to rocket off plan this weekend! OK--TO today and tomorrow--so I am with you Dan.
Dan--also, DH did the plan too and he started at 232 on Purple with lites and was told he would stay there until goal at 197 and he actually got to 193 on St. and Maint. Just another bit of info.
I was down a pound today also - and was actually a little surprised about it. I have been trying to follow plan closely thru the week, but this weekend, we bbq chicken - which is fine, but the whole wheat bun put me over on my starch, and then I also had a cocktail ..... but lots of excercise so ... hopefully it stays off.

Steph, the muffin tops must be new...but the 5 for $25 normally will include the deLites, the snacks, the cereal bars, biscotti...so it must include the muffin tops as well.
Okay, I have been doing sooo bad that it is not funny at all. I am eating a POP breakfast right now, and I am going to plan my menu for the week this afternoon and buy groceries. Also, I keep forgetting my pills until later in the day, and then I do not take them, so my blood sugar is screwed up. I am going to shoot for 1 day at a time, and reward myself 10.00 per POP day to go towards my B-Day trip to Jackpot. Gotta do something.....
