On Sunday morning last week my scales read 80.9kg, this morning they read 71.8kg! Is it possible to loose this much in a week? It seems extremely crazy, as all i have done is stopped eating as much and drunk at least 4 litres of water a day. I ran on Monday, Friday and yesterday, each for half an hour.

Its crazy! Weeks with nothing, so I gave up, a month later I start again and have a 10kg loss in the first week!

I hope progress next week is the same, im not hoping for another 10kg loss, but a few kg still in the right direction.

Gosh... that does seem odd. That's 22 pounds in a week, and seems like too much--especially given your current weight.

Well, could it be your scale is wrong? Or was wrong a week ago? Is it zero'ed correctly? Is the battery off, if it's a digital?

Could it be you were retaining a lot of water before you started drinking more?

If you check those things out and the loss doesn't seem to be an error, I'd check with your doctor. Some conditions can cause a large weight loss like that.

Sorry to put a damper on it, but not even on Biggest Loser do they drop that fast, and those people are much larger... So I just don't know!

both were zero'd correctly last week and this....
one is digital....
one is analogue....
digital reads 71.8kg....
and analogue reads 11.3....
both sets read the same last week also....
i just cant believe it....
its crazy but i am really loving it....
