Ok, I just wrote this long wonderful and funny post....I even copied it so if the system crashed I could just paste it back in..well after it took me another 10 minutes to get back on......the text went MIA too! Dang it!
Joan: Oooh that realtor! Let me at her gurrl!
Ok, have a meeting to fly to. Have a great day all, and if I think of the rest of my missing post, I'll be back to share the word!
I am stating the day very early, already did laundy and packed my DS after school he is going to his granparents, granpa is picking him up, yeah!!! I get a break!
I have to go to the airport in the afternoon to pick up my neighbor, we are plannig to go out for dinner after that, we are going to the Cheesecake Factory yummm!!!! they have the best salads and the best evil bread!
Joan to answer your question, no DH doesn't have any siblings he is an only child. I am so sorry about the house, realtors sometimes suck! they don't stay on top of things, and they some times foget that it is not only a business transaction but it actually involves peoples lives and people need to plan ahead. DO you have to be out of your home (old) that day? can you extended it just for a couple of days just to have piece of mind?
Sheila how are you? how is DH? I knwo it has been very though sorry
I got to go, DH needs me! Yeah I am needed!!! LOL.
Hello everyone, We just got back from a shopping trip to IKEA with MIL. We got curtains for Cassie's room and now I am going in an entirely different way for decorating! We got lots of cute stuff for the kids. I love that place I could drop a serious chunk of change with very little effort! Thankfully MIL treated us today.
hey all...another busy day.
Karen - thanks for the website...i already went and checked out all the local one in the new place we are moving to. I like the idea of having fresh farm products. Savannah just got a farmer's market on Sat....been trying to get to it...but the only day they have it is saturday..and lately my Sat i've either been working or out of town.
Joan - sorry to hear about your realtor. I have to admit...i wasn't sure about our realtor at first..she seemed a bit flakey...but damn..i would HIGHLY recommend her. She helped convince the seller's we were interested in other placed (when we really didn't have other options)...and she really worked hard and went out of her way for her commision. She probably has spent 60 hours working with us. In addition, she also has arranged for us to have a mail away closing (so we save the drive to ALT). And as for closing so fast..it worked out well..the seller doesn't live here any more and the house has been on the market for a while (well it actually was on the market for a while taken off and put back on with a lower price). So i think he was really just ready to have it off his hands.
hanna - glad to hear you get to have a little free time by yourself
hey everyone else. Very tired..but thought i'd stop in and say hi.
Ok, now I've seen your pics and seen the posted current weights for you wonderfully rare diamonds...and I have got to tell ya-I'm not buyin' the current weights. You all look FABULOUS, and you each look at least 40 pounds lighter than what's listed! Granted, I am biased to a degree, but I really think you are all terrific as you are!!!
Girl, you’re off your rocker!! There’s a reason I’m hiding behind DH in the pic!

I am on vacation this week, with family from Texas up so I don't know how often I will be on.
Lisa, are you working?? Did I just totally miss that?!
Karen, I have NEVER heard of ½ those veggies! Let’s see…we’re supposed to close 8/7, if they find a place to live within the 60 days…party Labor Day weekend!!
Hanna, I spoke with a couple inspectors that the agent recommended and am going with a guy that grew up in the town and currently lives the next town over. He works for Pillar to Post, which appears to be a franchise nationwide. Nice guy. Wow, that is very scary about the tumor…do they think it’s benign or malignant? I’ll keep you in my prayers. When is the surgery?
GG, I hope all of our closings go smoothly!! When are you closing?
Joan, I’d be giving my agent **** if they did that to me!!
Lauren, wow that is very astute of you. I am still looking for work ~ Toledo is a very depressed market. I have signed up with a temp agency and I am going on a second interview on Tuesday. What I meant was, I would not be on the computer practically from the time I wake up to the time I go to bed.
Well gals it's almost bedtime around here. All this realtor talk makes me feel really lucky to have found the world's greatest realtor when I bought my current house and she's been nothing but wonderful since then. Having the right person is soooo important!
Lisa~I'll bet your family from TX is enjoying a break from the humidity. They didn't miss anything at home today but air so thick you had to push your way through it. And that was up here in North Texas I can't imagine what it must have been like on the coast today. YUCK!
Had a good day today. Spent some time with my folks. God blessed us with good CT scan results for my mom-no new growth. Hubby brought home burgers for dinner. He'd had a really bad day and wanted some comfort food so I joined him. Also had a burger for lunch with my folks today. YIKES! My like eating didn't improve much today. Actually, I guess it went downhill.
I did get in two walks today though. I'm up to 7.5 miles for the month. I want to do 30 this month. I figure that's a good starting place.
Evenin' All ~
Melinda ~ I'm bummed:-(... about your losing your post... we all LOVE your notes! YOU ARE A NUT! I loved Lauren's, "Girl, you're off your rocker!" Yep, there's a reason why I'm holding my baby girl up so close ... and it's not just
'cause I love her dearly. Use the kids in an attempt to hide the fat. Urrrggghhh... DH zoomed in too close and you can't see my new 'do. Just started seeing a new gal and love the way that she cuts my hair.
Well, I'm still royally pissed off at our realtor. DH has calmed me down a great deal in saying that we are moving into a gorgeous home and a month from now none of this will matter. He talked to her today and the best info that we are getting is that we can get into our new house by 12:30 pm on closing day or 2:00 pm at the latest. We are supposed to be out of our current home by 5:00 pm. It just kills me as the moving company is coming here early to start loading up and it's really gonna suck if we have to pay them
$98/hr to sit in their truck waiting for the new house to empty. Lauren/future real estate agent ~ question for 'ya... aren't the agents supposed to be more on top of scheduling these things???
Best of luck with the closing Gator Gal. That is one neat house. You can enjoy the front porch with your morning coffee and the backporch during the evening hours when the bugs are out.
Time to go join by honey our on our screened in porch for some wine. Hope that everyone has an excellent weekend ~ Joan
