Hi, I joined your great site recently.

Forgive me but there is so much info here, I need some help on where to find a good solid low carb plan I can stick to. Like so many of you...I tried it before, went off, and gained back more. I am 48, 5'8" , and 195. I got a pup to get me walking in january, and have been pretty diligent about it until a couple months ago. I purchased an excercise bar{fluidity} and was moving it{they weigh about 50 Lbs.} and dropped it on my right foot, crushing the top bones. It was very painful and kept me from doing anything except gaining a few more lbs.
It is feeling much better, and except for some fruit I should probably skip, I have basicly gone back on low carb. I don't have my atkins book anymore, but do have the south beach, core, and low carb bible. Can any of you suggest a place here that I could read some guidelines..a good plan I can stick to & still feel good? Last time on atkins I felt good for awhile, but changed to feeling really bad..that's why I quit. I am so unhappy with how I look, please help.
