Thanks guys, honestly I'm amazed when I see the pictures. I still cant believe thats MY tummy and its actually flat! I couldnt look in the mirror and see the difference from the 4 day pictures until I took the new ones today. I'm ready for the swelling to go away. I still cant button my pre op pants, too much swelling in the tummy still. Just gotta be patient. Dr said it could take 6 months to see the final results.

Kim, it's looking really great! Is there a plug in your belly button? Sorry to be nosy, I just seem to be fascinated by it.

Angie- Its medicated gauze to help keep my belly button open while it heals. The nurse told me that circular incisions tend to want to close up on themselves when they heal so I have to keep something in there until it gets all healed up. After the stitches come out they'll have me wearing a marble in there for a few hours a day LOL

Oh man! Like it's not enough that you got to have a tummy tuck (you lucky duck!) but now you get to put a marble in there too!?? I can't tell you how many times I tried that as a child. lol

Wow you look great! So I must ask about the pain. Cause I am a scaredy cat when it comes to pain. I have already talked to my PCP and he says he can get my insurance to pay for it. But the big Question is how much does it hurt?!?!

I'm totally having a TT now, I already wanted one, but the marble seals it. I'll keep that in mind, about the raisins...DS loves raisins and has a fascination with his nose lately too..hmm.

Hey, Angie. Youngest DD stuck a sunflower seed up her nose the other night. Scared me to death!! Thankfully, she talks well enough that she told us what she'd done. She ending up sneezing it out, but I was so afraid we were headed for the ER. Then, my mom told me that she was talking about putting a raisin in her ear the other day. I may never let her eat small things again!!

Tosha- I never really had any pain. I was extremely uncomfortable from the muscle repair but the incision never hurt at all. My back hurt worse than my tummy because the skin and muscles are so tight you cant stand up straight so I walk hunched over like a little old lady LOL I know others have had pain so I'm not saying you couldnt but everything they do is superficial. The muscle repair is usually the biggest soreness. I only took pain meds for the first 3 days, after that, extra strength Tylenol during the day and Hydrocodone at night to sleep. Today is day 14 and now I'm not taking the pain meds at all, just the tylenol when I need something.

Wendy- my niece poured NERDS candies in her brothers ear while he was asleep one time. Isnt it amazing what their little minds can think of? LOL
