Lightbulb luna vs kashi....Anyone got some feedback for me?

Hi Ladies and Gents....

I am a canadian chick who just went across the border and got both the kashi and luna bars for the usa.....I am wondering if anyone prefers one over the other...I noticed that the kashi have alot more protein and calories....did anyone notice that they hadnt lost weight with substituting? i am looking for feedback positive or negative..I see that alot of people like the LUNAS...And I had my 1st carmel brownie one...OMG...its sinfully good..so im hoping i wont stop me losing the lbs.....

I just cant afford the la lites...i bought a few boxes....but we are on a limited budget as it is.

That's my favorite Luna too :-) Sure doesn't look as good as it tastes that's for sure :-)

Can't help in the dept. as if they work "as good" as lites or not. I honestly imagine that if you're POP and use these bars - the TINY amount of difference wouldn't make a difference in the big picture.

I love the Kashi GoLean Crunchy Chocolate Peanut bars (180 cals, 5g fat, 6g fiber, 9g protein). In all honesty, I stopped using LA Lite bars AND even the Kashi bars in an attempt to eat more real, natural foods. To make a long story short, when I stopped the Lites (or substitute lites), I also seemed to stop doing the plan and now I've gained back quite a bit of my weight. I'm getting myself back on track and I will do the lites...they keep me sane.

I don't think doing or not doing the LA Lites will affect your weight loss (or lack of weight loss). I think doing the PROGRAM will affect your loss. Good luck.

i love the luna bars. they are pretty close to the la bars in calories, fat and protein. i usually get mine from amazon.com (free shipping).

my favorites are: dulce de leche, chocolate peppermint (tastes like girl scout thin mint cookies), cookies 'n cream, lemon zest, nutz over chocolate, s'mores.
i just ordered some toasted nut cranberry ones. hopefully those are just as good.

Hi Mizzt,

I have used the TLC Kashi Bars from Costco here in Canada. I love that I get 24 bars for $8 and some change. (they are almost exactly the same cal/fat/etc - wise).
They aren't as yummy in a chocolate bar way, but they are very filling and wholesome. I have some Luna bars on hand for when I'm craving a chocolate bar or the like, but when I just need a lite bar, I have the Kashi....
