I need that motivation, that drive back and I cant seem to find it. And that sucks ....
.... until I went shopping today with my sister and my friend. They are both size 5's unlike myself who is uncomfortably in the plus size area. I need help! I need to find my drive. I want to get down to my goal weight.

I havent mentioned this to anyone except for my best friend but I honestly think I suffer from depression. I dont want to actually admit it but I think I might have to face the facts and say that I do.

Well, anyways ... thats the story of my life. Good news is I still am excited about going back to school. Nervous because I hate tests and public speaking and group work but everything else I like lol

So this is the update on myself and I hope to get back on the ball ....

How is everyone else doing? What did I miss?

Hi Nicoyaangel:

Don't be so hard on yourself! We ALL slip up, the main thing is to get back up, wipe yourself off and try again! We're all here for ya!

About the depression, I hear ya, that is why I went to my dr and now I am on anti-depressants, I know not for everybody, but it works for me. So maybe have a talk with your dr and they also might be able to help you with your diet and exercise as well.

Good Luck in school, we all know you'll do great!

Thank you Sassy

I will dig deep down inside and do this. I want to try that Medifast diet. My friend was on that and she lost tons of weight. But its expensive lol. In the mean time I will find alternatives like I did before. With money being so tight around here I have to basically have to work with what I have.

But I will soon have good news to report and thank you soo much for the support. haha The school I am attending is on a hill so there is lots of stairs to climb so I cant wait for that daily work out every morning hahaha ...

I do plan to make a dr. appointment. I was looking online looking for symptoms for depression and taking mini quizes and what nots and they all say the same. So, Im going to go talk to her and see what they can do for me.

Smile Good morning ladies!

Sassy, thanks for opening the new thread!

How is everyone doing?

Sassy, I hope everything went well with your catscan today.

Nicoyaangel, it is hard, so hard. I keep falling myself and have been wondering myself if I should see my doctor about depression. It's so hard to get into this and stay there. If I slip I get sad and want to just hide from the world. Good luck school, sounds like you will get some exercise. I hope everything goes well at the doctors.

As for me, I've been MIA sorry. For a while the scale started slowly going down and then it decided to go back up and I was sad and really stopped trying for a while but I don't want this to beat me. I want to win this battle so I'm here in full force.

Hello to everyone! Happy June!

Rhonda

Talking We CAN do this, together!

Nicoyaangel -- YW Hon. We all slip, me I do ALL the time! But I refuse to give up! Its like that saying, "Can't keep me down" or something I dunno. lol. Well there ya go, all those stairs at your school, you'll be getting your daily exercise and getting knowledge! lol Glad to hear your going to see your dr. They can be helpful with helping you with your WL journey. Mine has been. Even if I slip up, he is still on my side and there to help me out.

Hi Rhonda! YW for starting the thread. NP. We CAN do this, together we can! Just keep telling yourself that!

Hey Teresa! Glad your back w/ us! Ya know this morning as I was drinking that dye for my Catscan I thought, "Wow if I can drink this stuff I know I could drink that slim fast stuff!" I have tried it years ago, but could not keep the stuff down! So now maybe I can! Just as a substitute for my lunch at work or something. Just to give me a "boost".......... Good Luck w/ yours if you decide to go that route! Also don't ever give up hope! If I gave up hope i would have given up a long time ago! And I did try! lol. But these fine ladies at 3FC would NOT let me give up! Just do babysteps, and build up slowly. That is the most wonderful and greatest advice I have ever gotten here. You CAN do it! We believe in you!

Ok I FINALLY got my Cat Scan done early this morning after work! It was EASY. It took longer for me to drink that nasty dye stuff than the whole amount of time it took to do the Scan! lol. And this time the guy I had was NICE! (had a very bad exp last time when I had my ultra sound done so this time had it done at the hospital)

OH ya a couple thoughts here: the cat scan machine that scanned me? Was made by the co. I work for. and secondly while registering, there was a man in HANDCUFFS next too me, no it wasn't a kinky sex thing gone bad, he had a sheriff with him. He was there for a blood test to see if he had any drugs in his system. (the guy was blabbing on for days) lol. If it came up positive he would get a DUI charge, if its negative then he gets a charge for going left over center. (yup like I said he was blabbing for days) lol.

That is all. Please carry on with whatever you were doing. lmao!

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to say "hi" and say that I'll probably drop by here occasionally, more often as I start to ttc again in Sept or Oct. Hopefully I can give some of you some hope that it's not impossible to conceive with PCOS; I have a beautiful 15 month old daughter. I know I didn't have as hard a time as many women with PCOS. It took a year from my diagnosis to conceive, and I was successful with Metformin and Clomid.

Right now, I'm trying to lose weight on my own. I lost over 20 lbs before I got pregnant last time, so I know it is a major factor for me. I don't normally ovulate until I get around 150 lbs.

Best of luck to all of you--I remember how all-consuming and stressful it was before I got pregnant the second time (miscarried the first).
