Well, an obvious but boring choice is a couple of poached eggs, heh. You could add half a piece of unbuttered toast if you wanted to use up a starch (as I'm sure they won't be using diet bread.) Umm...canadian bacon (ham) is a protein as well, but you'd probably use the eggs as your protein. Oh! Fresh fruit! That would be a good one...drink water and coffee for your beverages so you don't blow all your fruits at once on a glass of OJ. Hmm...

Yeah, I'm out of ideas beyond that.

I've found some places have english muffins or bagels, you could have half, yogurt or fruit and the good old eggs.. skip the benedict and waffles and watch what you pour in your coffee... boy this sounds like a boring meal!!
But good for you!

Cereal (hot or cold) w/skim milk and fresh fruit.

Egg white omelet or egg beaters w/veggies. You can spice it up w/salsa or hot sauce. If you have any egg dish, don't forget to count a fat unless they have Pam and will use that instead of butter.

Maybe they have a fruit salad and you can use 2 fruits for that?

A fruit and yogurt parfait? You can make your own w/yogurt, berries or bananas and a tiny bit of granola. (like 1 tbsp)

That's one of my fav's when I travel. Sometimes I will have half of an english muffin, as well.

When I am faced with eating out challenges I usually skim over my plan book again to make certain I am familiar with all the options and then make the best choice possible off the menu. Don't forget..you can special order your food..most restaurants will be happy to comply!

ok I am late on this one as I am sure you have already ate breakfast. But I went to IHOP the other night and had breakfast. I had the new veggie omelete. With no cheese and sause and had dry wheat toast. I ate 1 piece of toast and counted it as 1p,2v,2 s. Since they said on the menu they mix pancake mix with there eggs.

We go out to breakfast every weekend. Most places will have a "Quick one egg" type breakfast. I normally have 1 egg over easy, 1 slice toast and fresh fruit with coffee or water.
