Default 25 by 4th of July - anyone want to join me?

As you can see by my profile, I've got a long way to go. I think mini goals will really prevent me from becoming discouraged. I'm down 11 pounds in about 2 weeks, and am shooting for another 14 before the 4th of July. Is anyone up for being buddies in this quest? I'll kick your butt if you kick mine!

Sure! I have lost 6 pounds so far and would like to be down another 20 pounds by the 4th of July

Count me in! What type of plan are you following? I am staying within a calorie range (1,200-1,800), eating vegan, high fiber and whole foods and moving my body more each day (soon to be a rigorous 4 hours 4 days a week schedule of fitness).

Hi Soul - Wow - it sounds like you're doing great already! Congratulations on the exercise!

I'm following Phase 1 of Fat Smash, which is pretty vegetarian. Lots of fruits, veggies, and legumes with yogurt and skim milk thrown in. I've been moving more (like parking far away in the parking lot and taking the stairs instead of the elevator), although I haven't started to formally exercise yet.

I think we can really do this. I'm ready if you are!

I'd love to join - I'm down 8.5 in 2 weeks (not sure why the ticker doesn't show 1/2 lbs) and would love to be down another 17 by July 4th. I'm also doing the exercise challenge, so hopefully both of these should keep me on my gain.

If it's ok with you guys I'd like to also add my daily menus. I think if I post it somewhere, I will feel more accountable. Is that ok?

Hope everyone is having a good Monday!

sounds great jen - isn't it crazy that we tend to do better with somebody watching? Good luck keeping up - I intend to beat both of you to the 25! Is that a challenge, or what?

Challenge is on - I can't add another ticker so I'll just have to post my loss in the post in addition to my original loss ticker.

You may be in trouble girl - I just walked 4 miles pushing a 2 y/o in a stroller...
(and I'm exhausted )

Have a good night!

wow!! Good luck to you all. 25 pounds is too agressive for me. I'd just like to drop another 6 or 7 by the 4th. My weight loss is much slower than some. I'm lucky lately if i can get one pound a week. But i'll be rooting for you all to hit your 25 pound marks by the 4th!!

Hey Lumi - just want you to know I'm only losing another 16 by the 4th to make my total 25 - not 25 more by the 4th (although that would be brilliant)!

Join in - I think having 6 or 7 by the 4th is just as great!

Btw, Musictchr - I lost another .5lb today - I think you have yourself a challenge....

I will post my menu later, but so far today it's been a fruit smoothie and a FiberOne bar!

Thanks for all of the good wishes. I, like jen, have already lost some (11), so 13 doesn't seem all that far fetched. But it sounds like jen had a better weekend than I. I thought I'd done so well, but didn't lose any more, but didn't gain either. I guess I have to give in and start exercise!

Nice job, jen!

Well musictchr - I think I helped your cause today when I had mcdonalds for lunch.

So here goes the menu Btw I'm doing ww - so I'm counting points too

Breakfast: Fruit smoothie - 3
FiberOne bar - 2

Lunch:
big mac - 14
small fries - 5

Dinner: 2 cabbage rolls - 3
veggies - 0

Total is still in check BUT it is pouring rain here so I won't be able to walk tonight. I think 3 miles is about 6,000 steps - so if I walk up and down my steps....oh forget it, back on the wagon tomorrow!!! I'm praying if there is a gain, it is VERY minimul. Anyone want to cry with me tomorrow?

Have a good night!
Jen

I had a couple of VERY off plan days (drank some alcohol on 2 occasions ) but with the exception of one day, I didn't blow the calorie budget! So, I am doing ok, all things considered.

My upcoming exercise schedule should help me reach my goal by July 4th!

Soulbliss,
Hey looks like you did a good job - no gain is great! Hang in there and you will be back on the wagon with me tomorrow!

Well, I finally found the track on the treadmill today. I haven't used it in about 6 years, so I'm just hoping that the motor isn't siezed! But I'll save that for tomorrow. Did some gardening today and counted that as exercise. Is that stretching the definition of exercise?

Keep up the good vibes!

I'd like to join in. My ultimate goal is to lose 25lbs, so I'd like to use the challenge as a kick start. Is that okay?

I follow WW (poorly, sometimes), and my day resets on Wednesdays.
