Default Sushi????

Does anyone know if sushi is acceptable? I love california rolls and would love it if there was an exchange for it in the diet.

6pc of sushi = 1P, 1S. That's without any sauces or anything. Since the california has avocado, I would add 1 Fa to that.

(I love sushi, but 6pc just won't do it so I usually stay clear)

Liz and I went for sushi the other day... My fav is the New Mexico roll, which has rice and a tempura New Mexico green chile.. I know the tempura is a no-no, but there's so little of it that I just count it as 1F, and move on..

Unfortunately, the place we went to uses mayo on some of their rolls, and so, hating mayo, I didn't enjoy it as much... Liz like sashimi, so she was in the clear as far as starches go...

if there is only rice and maybe cucumber or that yellow radish thing or avacado. no meat. do you just count it as one starch plus or minus the avacado? there would be no protein.... right?
