Thank you

  • Finally after almost 30 pounds gone, I took my measurements this morning and went clothes shopping. I have not clothes shopped for a long time, so I was kind of excited. Anyway, I bought two size 6 tops & a pair of size 8 pants. It might sound silly, but I was getting a little emotional in the fitting room trying on those clothes.

I don't post often because I don't think I am very articulate, but I do read as many posts every time I visit. I want to thank everyone here in 3FC, without your support and inspiring stories, I don't think I can ever come this far. Still a long way to go, but I know I will get there.
  • Congrats on losing weight and the smaller sizes. 30 pounds since February is awesome (if i do say so myself)!!!

And post more, as much as you get help from us, we all can get a lot of help and support from you!
  • Congratulations !I see our figures are quite similar, i haven't gone shoppig yet, but you are giving me ideas.
  • Besides the awesome wt. loss, I think you are very articulate!

Since when did a little loss for (correct, inspiring, brilliant....fill in the blank) words stop any of the rest of us from posting? LOL. Congratuations! Mary
  • Well, now YOU are an inspiring story, just hanging out up there in the NW quietly losing weight! Congrats and I hope we hear from you more often!
  • I most certainly found you to be very articulate. You expressed yourself beautifully. I know EXACTLY what you mean about getting emotional in the dressing room. It's happened to me quite a few times since I started my journey. I had overwhelming feelings of joy as I was first fitting into "regular" sized clothing (I actually sobbed like a baby if I recall) and then again as they sizes were getting smaller and smaller.

Congratulations on a magnificent achievement. And please, don't hesitate to post more often.
  • Great work! Doesn't size 8 feel wonderful?
  • I am so happy for you!
  • That is awesome. Please do come back and post more often. We love to hear how everyone is doing on their way down the scale. I am so happy for you!! I think I will probably cry once I get back into a single digit pants size. I can't wait!! Congrats on your lose and good luck on reaching your goal.
