Default New to message boards

Hi,

I am new to the message boards, but not to being overweight. I am well over 300, but really trying to get life in order. I truly think the rest of my life is great, so I really need to get this portion in order.

Anyone with LOTS of weight to lose using WW? That is what I am doing, along with my husband. We have both had success in the past, not sure what happened. I have never attended meetings, just follow the points system. Seems to work.

Anyway, hi everyone.

Welcome, Realist! This is a great place for support, ideas, and inspiration! This is a group of people who really know what it's like to have that much weight to lose. I personally count calories, but I know there are some WW out there!

Feel free to join us on the weekly numbered threads-- that's where a lot of the action is!

Hi there, and WELCOME! I'm doing WW, but haven't lost a WHOLE lot yet, but I love the plan so far, and I've lost 8.2 lbs in 2 weeks. There are quite a few of us on WW, and Ammi (one of the regulars on the board), has lost a TREMENDOUS amount of weight on WW.

Welcome, this is a good place for support.

Good luck with WW, I have done that twice but ended up gaining heaps even though I followed it to the letter.

I watch my calories, fat intake and try to avoid "white" foods (breads, flour etc, I use multigrain or wholemeal foods instead).

to 3fc! This is such a great place for support - especially the fact that there is a place just for those of us who have more to lose. I have also lost most of my weight so far with calorie counting, but there are definitely several people who have used WW. The important thing is to find something you can live with and make it work for you.
