Hi , I’m new but I would like to offer a challenge…here it is:
Starting: May 17th
Ending: June 1st (this is giving you a little time to prepare)
You must:
1. work out ½ hour a day- 4 days a week (any 4 days you want)
2. you can't eat after 8:30pm (unless you work midnights)
3. you can't eat in front of the T.V, in your car or reading.
4. you must report to the form every day (or as much as you can) to tell us “what was your biggest obstacle of the day"….
For example; my biggest obstacle was not eating dinner in front of the tv with my spouse, I asked him if we could eat in the dinning room, he said “no” so I ate alone.
Sometimes your biggest obstacle might not have anything to do with the challenge, like: I told my Mom I was losing weight, so she made my favorite dish, is she trying to sabbatosh (sp?) me? At the end of the month we will report our weight loss…we should see some tickers move! If this works, ill do one next month…if it doesn’t, at least we tried! Even if one person joins I know we can do this together, but I’m hoping for a few!

My biggest obstale today is getting the right food im out of food at work so finding low/carb low/fat at lunch is always my biggest fear
I'll try!! I want to exercise more anyway, so this will just stick me to it. My only thing is, I always read brakfast and lunch while reading the newspaper. Is that a no-no??

Here are some things I’m doing to prepare;
Find a spot in your home where you will eat, anytime I want to eat I must eat in that spot. Even if I’m cooking and I want to sample something, I must take the sample to that spot..(Psychologically I am eliminating triggers that make me eat, for example, I watch "everyone loves Raymond" and I always eat...by giving myself only one place to eat. I am removing A A LOT of triggers like cars, TV, and so on..)
Next I’m keeping that area free of clutter (sorry Treighsie, no newspapers) so i can concentrate on eating and nothing else, I can feel when I am full, or just ask myself "why the heck am I here eating again? But you can talk to someone while you’re eating, but not on the phone.
Next I’m designating a time to work out each day (4 days a week) no matter what, I will work out, I will keep this appointment with myself like I keep my appointment to eat, if I can find time to eat, I can find time to work out!
Also I’m telling everyone “m not to eat after 8:30pm", by doing this i am making myself accountible to myself and others... Please let me know you all's plans!

Treighsie: try to give up the newspaper for one meal tomorrow, and see how you do..ok see if you can wean your self by the 17th...
everyone start working on your weakest part now, if eating without the tv is going to be your hardest deal (thats mine)...wean yourself now..if its working out..start today by getting your work out area ready, and planing your workout rutien for the next 14 days!(dust of those shoes girls!!)

My biggest weakness is eating. I have a bad habit of eating in front of the tv, with a book, with the paper, or in front of my computer. In front of my computer is the worst! I am gonna change my no eating after time if it's cool with yall...my body is on an odd eating schedule cause I work nights at work...till 9 each night....so I'm thinking about using 10pm as my no eating after time...if yall agree.
I'm usually up until 1ish most nights, so that should help I'm definitely going to work on moving that time back and retraining my body, but I'm realistic and know that won't happen in 2 days. My goal is to by the end of this challenge have cut myself back to no eating after 8:30 pm...and I betcha I can do it if I just try. I'm glad to be aboard and looking forward to this challenge.
Hi all!! Can I join? My biggest challenge is like others eating while waatching t.v, I love basketball, and its the playoffs so when they come on I usually eat, and I loved beer too. Playoff basketball and beer. Oh so good. But dropped the beer, and am looking forward to this challenge.
I need to kick the eating in front of the tv habit and after 8:30 also. I do fine with exercising but exercising is no good if I eat too much. I do fine with calories but I munch on thing I shouldn't in the evening. (even if they fit into my cals)

2. no eating after 8:30pm ( this will be a doozie)
