Default Anyone following Eat to Live?

I see there was a thread on the Eat to Live book. Basically it is a vegan diet, but you don't have to be a vegan. You can be a vegetarian or eat some meat. It mostly stresses eating lots of cooked veggies and salads, fruits and beans and using other foods like a condiment (sparingly). I am a vegetarian but do eat cheese and have milk (mostly in coffee ). I read the book and would like to try it. Right now I am counting calories and using Slimfast, but I know I can't do slimfast forever.
Anyone else interested in starting an Eat to live thread again??

Hi. I just joined but I'm trying to start doing Eat to Live. I've been "easing myself into it" for the past two weeks but need to seriously start doing it. I am the farthest thing from a vegetarian but know that I'm going to need to stop eating all my standard foods in order to change and lose weight.

Hi everyone!
I am glad we have some people willing to try!! Great idea starting Monday Suzanne! That will give a chance to get to the grocery store and stock up on fruits and veggies. My real problem will be I love cheese and sweets. Lately it's been the coffee drinks like iced coffee. I love those and that would definately be out!! But I know if I stick to it the weight will fall off like the book promises.
Maybe we can post our progress each week to keep us motivated?
good luck to us all!
