Default having a "bad" meal can really set you back

In my dinner party thread the other day, I mentioned I went to someone's house where they served fried chicken, potatoes, and garlic bread. I ate a modest portion, but I know this is pretty bad for phase 1! I was up 2 lbs the last couple days, but am finally getting close to 143 again. I'm also starting to exercise to speed up my loss again.

Adrian, most of it could be Sodium or water weight. While its not the best things to eat, I dont think you gained 2 pounds from it.. Hang in there!!!

Life happens. Of course it's water weight from sodium. Chinese food means 3-4 pounds for me. You'd need to eat 7000 EXTRA calories to gain two pounds. Just glug your water and carry on. It's just slippage.

Just remember that this is a lifetime committment to better health. One day will not be a big deal in the long run.

Having a bad day definitely puts you back!! WED I had a bad night at work and I ate somethings that I wasn't supposed to and I just now lost the 2 lbs I gained. As always remember...."Work toward progress, not perfection."
