Default I tried couscous

for the first time yesterday. I LOVED it! It was kind of a Greek style with feta cheese, red peppers, black olives, and green onions. So tasty! Couscous will be a part of my diet from now on! Thanks to everyone who replied to my other thread a couple of weeks ago about this.

I also bought Fiber One Honey Clusters, and I found that to be very yummy, as well. I eat it almost every morning for breakfast now! I put some sliced strawberries in it occasionally.

I like finding new yummy foods!

No, I didn't make it myself. I bought it from a deli, but I can't imagine that it would be hard to make myself. Very tasty!

Couscous is delicious AND really easy to prepare. Boil 1 1/2 cups of water for every cup of couscous. Add couscous to the boiling water along with a little salt. Cover, remove from heat. Wait five minutes and then fluff the couscous with a fork. Voila! It might literally be the easiest food to make--certainly easier than boiling an egg . If you want to add stuff to it, saute whatever in your pot, then add the water, boil, add couscous and cover and remove from heat. I like it with mushrooms, pine nuts and chicken stock instead of water.

I love couscous...I just bought some whole wheat kind and am looking forward to trying it!

Glad to know the honey clusters is good...I just got the regular Fiber One last week and it is really good too!

There's a really good Lemon chicken and couscous recipe in the SB quick and easy cook book...
