Default Young adult who needs some support
My name is Brianna and I am 238lbs. I haven't always been this heavy, but about a year and a half ago I had my gallbladder removed and I've gained about 80lbs. since then. I know I can do it, but I have some issues. I used to be bulimic so I know that sometimes I still over eat to make myself feel better. That I know is a problem, but I also have horrible will power. Sometimes I think no one else is on my side, so I'll go for it and try hard then just give up. I need some support and I really like to see people's progress.
I'd love to gain some friends and lose some weight,

Hi Brianna!

My name is Apryl, and I just turned 19, so we're pretty close in age. I'm a freshman in college and *finally* making the time to lose weight my #1 priority. It's so tough though! So much going on... and so many skinny friends who eat whatever they want.

I know what you mean about the support... and trust me, it's here. I've been here since I was a freshman in high school and I really feel like there were sometimes when the only people who cared were the women here. They are wise, and beautiful.

So please, stick around. Post often, and don't be afraid to ask questions.

It's so great to see someone so young who is ready to start this journey. You face a different set of challenges than people my age because of social eating, peer pressure, and living situations. As the wisest 19 year old I know said:
