Default Anyone else ever seen this??

In the past week, give or take, I've started eating easter candy. Yah, I know. Bad me. Anyway, about two days ago I weighted myself and I was 225. I did again today and I'm down to 221.5. It's like eating candy is helping me to lose weight rather than gain it. Unless there's something else involved. Cause normally I don't get up until 2pm, so I don't get enough calories per day. Which is why I think my weight went so high, and has been lately. Could the calories in candy, even though empty, be giving me enough for the day?

Also, maybe your body was "starving" and the boost in calories could have "given permission" to your body to lose weight.
Our bodies are weird and wonderful things. There really is no telling why they do certain things.

I'm starting to realize that. I know candy isn't the best thing to fill up on, but now that easter is over it'll be easier since there isn't any more easter candy to buy. I'm still working on finding snacks to eat and such. I have this cereal that's really nice. Organic and multi-grain. Or maybe it was whole grain. Either one, but it's good stuff. Kroger has the best health food selection outside of a co-op.

And yes, I realized that my weight lately is starvation mode. I'm working on it as best I can.

Calories are calories. Daily fluctuations (water, etc.) aside, as long as you consumer fewer than you burn, you will lose weight. Doesn't much matter if it's candy or steak or oatmeal. Of course, healthy wise, we all know that the "candy diet" isn't a good way to go...
