Default Trying It Tuesday Chat

Sometimes we get stuck in a rut - not just in food, but in Life! Today I am going to have my supper for breakfast just to shake things up a bit. Anybody want a fajita with salsa?

Not much on the agenda today except to finally finish up some Fair work and go to town to take my well water in for testing. We do pet therapy later today so my evening meal will be late - breakfast at 8 PM. We'll see how it works. Tuesday night is wing night at the Long Horn and I'm planning a reverse day to avoid that!

What's happening around your Beach Towel this Tuesday morning?

Good Morning!

Ruth, I'd join you for a fajita if it was made with chicken, I don't do beef. I think I'll just be content with my good old oatmeal, but thanks anyway!

I noticed yesterday that the weeping willows that line our boulevard are turning green and the redbud trees are starting to bloom, it should make for a pretty Easter, if the cold spell that's coming doesn't hurt them. Today is our last day of seeing the sun for a while and the temperatures are going to take a nosedive. Seems winter just doesn't want to give up!
Yesterday wasn't too bad. The girls cousins are a few years older, and spend most of the afternoon taking the girls on rides in the golfcart all around the farm. It made my job pretty easy. Our day today is full of piano and dance lessons, and I'm going to treat them out to lunch. Maybe I'll get home at a decent hour too, last night I didn't get home until almost 9.

Hey there chickies! Terrific Tuesday to ya!

Ruth: Honey, I would joing you for fajitas for breakfast any day. Count me in! Hope the well water tests okay. I can only imagine what a hassle it being contaminated would cause you. Good luck shaking things up!

Cottage: Oh my, a boulevard lined with weeping willows--what I wouldn't give to see that. (I love those trees!) Seems like you're having a wonderful time with the girls and all their cousins! Golf-carting around the farm -- that would occupy most adults for hours! Fun!

ME: Day 2 here I come! I'm feeling pretty good this morning! Stepped on the scale just for grins and I lost 1 lb yesterday. Hooray! It's just the beginning! Eggs and veggies again for breakfast, salad with turkey for lunch and leftover taco bake and salad for dinner.

Tonight I'm going to see that movie Wild Hog with a coworker and some of her friends. It'll be my first time out with her "group", so I'm a little bit apprehensive. It'll be fine. I guess it's probably just my nerves. DH is excited. A week night with me out of the house is like buried treasure to him. I just hope that it means fostering new friendships. WOW! Look at the time...gotta go!

Stay beachy!

~Kim

Yummy the fajita for breakfast sounds good. I wasn't really feeling breakfast this morning, but that would have made it better. I'm back at it on day 1 and doing good so far. Hope everyone is having a terrific Tuesday.

Hello chickies, long time, this would be the reason why. Friday around lunch time for the lack of nothing better to do I decided to have a fight with a tin can well guess who lost. ME, ended up at the outdoor and recieved 4 stitches and a tentus shot, first for both, the nurse (male ) had to hold my hand and remind me to breathe. Then sat I had to teach dance and then it was off to Cheerleading competition. Sunday was selling tickets at the local flea market for oldest dd dance troupe, then got home and the dang computer wouldn't work, Finally got it working this morning.
I am back on track and drinking water, which is a first for me - I am not doing a true phase one, but a one and a half- We will see how things go. Well I wish I had more time but I don't so have a great one chicks.

Default Good afternoon girls

I'm sitting here being a slug. I feel pretty awful right now and couldn't figure out why, then it dawned on me.............phase 1 and no sugar........... I'm dizzy and headachy.........why do I do this to myself. Anyway, I'm trying to decide if I can get outside to run. I thought if I came here first I'd get the enthusiasm to get off my rear and go!

So here goes...................I hope I don't die on the pavement. The only thing I'll ask the paramedics is for a bolus of sugar

Default Holy Cow!

I guess if I haven't gone for a run for 6 weeks I can't expect to be where I was....right? I felt like a slug but at least I did what I could do.. Hopefully I'll go better next time out and I'll be over these first days of "faze 1 blahs"

Default 4 lbs.=4 days

I weighed in tonight at the gym and oh my .

What is opposite of the flush fairy? I think that fairy showed up. I am up 4 lbs. since my last weighin on saturday moring. For the past four days I had a love affair with pizza once, speghetti twice, flirted with a milkshake and went out with Taco Bell. I am I paying for it now

You would think that since I did so well in losing weight during the month of March I would have stayed on track. Oh gosh how did this happen. I really really need to get right back on it.
