Default Terrific Tuesday!

The day is looking good, coffee and sunshine! It's supposed to be in the upper 70s today,

Today is my day for playing "taxi", both girls are back in school, and the afternoon is full of ballet, tap and piano lessons. It does make my day go fast, though, so I'm not complaining. I do have the morning off, and I'm going to do a quick cleaning and make a few pizzas with some ww dough that I have to use up. We'll have one pizza tonight, and I'll freeze the others.

So how is your day shaping up? Come, pour a cup and chat for a bit.

Happy Tuesday!

Yesterday was gorgeous here - over 70*, sunny, just lovely. There was a thunderstorm in the night and it is gray and wet right now, but still 60*. DH and I enjoye dthe nice weather with open windows and a walk last night (I more than met yesterday's 10,000 step goal). I am on duty tonight though, so it can rain all it wants - it makes the students quieter and keeps them indoors! - and I own more than my share of protective rain gear.

I have excercised and had breakfast and the necessary coffee. I even have the makings of an iced latte in the fridge to take to work. Nothing like a steady dose of caffiene!

Only three interviews today, as opposed to 10 yesterday. I may actually be able to read and respond (the key I think!) to some emails and clear at least one of the piles from my desk! It was a disaster area yesterday, that I just added to and ignored.

Hope everyone enjoys their day! Maybe I will get the time to check in again later!

Ally

Wake up Sleepyheads!

ahh, Good morning!!!

TAXI!!!!!! Cottage to bad you can't zip down here -but it sounds like the Nawtheast weather is starting to hint at spring!

Amasam: Ah A goil after me own heart! A Steady IV drip would suit me fine! What are you interviewing for? Sounds like a mighty busy impertant job ya got there!

Ruth is probably zipping about the Delta, picking up flowers, attending committee meetings, eating at Longhorns and terrorizing Bingo People.

Nothin new to report here...off to the docs to have my ears checked - so far it seems the operation is a success, and I hope hope hope that in a few weeks he will also remove the tubes from both ears... after that some food shopping, walkin the furkids, and put my nose back in the books. Beachgal, fyi: this aint fun readin, my little bookworm! It's coursework for the Project Management Professional (PMP) exams. Another few months of it too.

Wow...the warm weather must be driving all the Beachies to go outside and exercise so they have no time to !

It drove me to finally do the Yoga Booty Ballet: Latin Flavor! DVD that I got over the weekend from Blockbuster.com. I was so excited to get it...I've been waiting for months! It was SOOO much fun!!! I definitely want to do more, and it worked up a HUGE sweat! But I was dancing so I didn't feel it as much as I would otherwise.

Off to therapy, the plastic surgeon for another check on my leg scar, and grocery shopping. Making a spinach calzone for dinner...must be thinking alike, Cottage! Your pizzas sound yummy! What do you do to the ones you freeze? Do you bake them partway first?

Have a great day, chickies! Good luck on the interviews, Amasam!

Actually the weather has been very wet here. We really need the rain though so I can't complain. I can complain about work but that won't help so I won't.

Tonight is the Arrow of Light Ceremony where the 5th grade boys will graduate to Boy Scouts. Brian is in 4th but it's always fun to see. I just hope I don't get paged. Yesterday I didn't get to eat lunch until almost 4 due to problems and we've already had our first outage today. We are waiting for a patch from the vendor to stabilize the product and in the meantime we are having 1-3 outages a day. Yuck!

Good Afternoon Chicks,

All this talk of dough is making me crazy! Phase 1 be danged! Nah, I am doing OK...but pizza...oh pizza oh calzone...and spinach is my favorite! I am doing really good this week. Tonight is WW weigh in...I hate their scale because it is 4 pounds heavier than mine at home...but I will still have lost.

I am feeling better today and I have a ton of work to do...so that is really good. I will check in later...

Have a great day at the beach :-)

Hello chicks. It has been a crazy days for me. The week end was busy busy busy as usual. And this week is shaping up to be the same. I am already trying to organize things for sat and sunday. Youngest dd has her first cheerleading compt of the season. Oldes DD is going to a dance friday night and then sunday has a dance practice and her troupe is going out to lunch and we have a family bday supper and then I have to be out to the big flea market to sell tickets. I also have to teach dance in the morning and then Friday night is my last shift at the store. Good lord I am tired just thinking about it. But I have this thing about knowing excalty what and where I have to be and being organized. I am sure I stress myself some day.

I have been so off the beach it is not funny. I am scared to step on the scales, which is probably what I need to do. Some one please kick my butt.

Well sorry but I gotta to dash dh went out to the bus stop to get the school kids and they should be back any second. They will be screaming for snacks cause they will be STRAVING. So I must go cut up some fruit and cheese and crackers.

I will try to pop in later tonight. Take care chickies.

Goodmorning! I still have a few more minutes left to my morning! I have sorta been MIA the past week or so, life gets busy, especially when you are a little off plan, I have a hard time posting when I'm not doing so good.

cottage - can you come drive me to the park for a walk today?

Sounds like everyone is having beautiful weather - it was sunny and warm here yesterday, today is another story. It's overcast, but as long as there is no rain I am DETERMiNED to get out and go for a walk! Spring is coming, finally.

I better get breakfast on, I shall talk to you gals later!

Whew! Finally I am back online. The problem was the power source as I suspected. I few wires tightened and replaced and a good vacuuming and I'm good to go. My biggest problem is reconnecting my new keyboard - I think the little wire thingies are bent. Anyhow, I just dug out my old keyboard which is better anyhow although grubby beige instead of sexy black.

I've not been near the scale either so had better get serious tomorrow. I'm having folks for dinner then but can eat around my menu and be "too full" for dessert - my rum cake with ice cream and pineapple and berries!

Mild and wet here but the snow is nearly all gone. I have snowdrops and crocus in bloom! It's definitely muddy paw season but Donna comes in the morning so I'm not worried.

Lucy and I are off to do pet therapy. I may get a chance to pop in later and catch up!
