Glad to have you with us, Feelinsxy! (great, positive name!)

Have you read the book? You definitely should read it before starting the plan. This plan really requires you to make decisions about what works for your body, but you won't know what to try and what to look for unless you read the book first. If you can't afford it right now, check your local library; they should have it. If you do read the hardback version, though, make sure you look at our updated Phase 1 and 2 lists in the FAQ...they have been updated since the hardback book came out. The paperback book is much more up to date for the lists, but even those are a little behind the ones we keep updated on this site.

The recipes here are great, aren't they? I can totally recommend the Taco Bake (an awesome Phase 1 staple...haven't met anyone who hasn't raved about it, including non-dieting spouses and kids! ), Chicken Divan, and the Peanut Butter Cup (you'll keep eating it in P2, for sure!).

Glad to have you with us!

Feelinsxy,

Great name! It seems like we need to finally decide to make a drastic change in our lives before we can do it. It was like that for me when I first started SB Dec. 2005. It was like that when I quit smoking 10 years ago. Once you make the decision you're ready to commit. It sounds like you are ready, congratulations and good luck.
