Hey Y'all -- newbie from Atlanta - 3 Fat Chicks on a Diet Weight Loss Community

Hey everyone. Names's Stacey, from Atlanta. 25, cube-dweller. Starting working out 6 days a week last week. Started seriously dieting in January at 293. Have lost 30lbs from my high weight of 297. I've been a yo-yo dieter since 1999, when I tried Atkins, lost 35lbs, put on 50 as soon as I went off and my weight's been screwy ever since.

Currently, I'm doing a high protien, low calorie, low fat, lower in carb (about 70-100 carbs a day) partially liquid diet. Would love to meet some new folks!

Hello and welcome, lot of my family live in atlanta....that is great on the weight lost, what do you eat?

Hello Stacey! I am also new here - from Atlanta too. Everyone here seems to be so supportive and all the weight loss results are very motivational. I'm hoping that communicating with people going through all the same stuff as me will help keep me on track!

Hi Stacey!

Joining us here may be the best decision you've made today--I know it was for me! When I feel in control, I post and get a pat on the back. When I have a question, someone helps me out. When the day is going badly, there are friends to lean on. I've only been here maybe 3 weeks and I am soooo very glad I came.
I lived in Lawrenceville, GA from 1985-1992 and loved it there. It is so huge now when I go back to visit I get lost. Went back for my nephew's wedding in Jan and am going to spend part of the summer there with my sister. She keeps moving further and further out and is now way in the boonies where she could afford a house better. Anyway, welcome. Come in and join the fun!
