lol Nicola - thanks and yes it was a lot of crap!! lol I work night shift full time so i tend to snack on junk most of the time both at work and at home i'm just too lazy too bother cooking.

I'm gonna do Slimming World - i've used it before very sucessfully and found it pretty easy to follow. The due to a family event i stopped going to classes etc and it kind of fell to the way side.

I'm not planning on going to classes this time, A) because there are too expensive for the actual info the coonsultant at my class give, i dont feel its value for money. & B) because of the hours i now work its not really suitable to me. So i'm gonna give it a bash myself, i've dug out my old books all ready for Friday!!

Which diet are you following? WELL DONE on the 19LB so far!!! great work!

thanks. im following slim style. its every tuesdsy £4. it is a bit expensive isnt it. i tried following the slimming world one on my own as i have the blue pack at home from when i went before. i couldnt do it. i find that going to be weighed every week makes you more determind to say no to the chocolate and chrisps.
we are all behind you to do this. if you ever ever need any support then we are here

Ooh not long to go now until the start! Well done on the quitting smoking, that's a biggie! You're very brave giving up smoking and food at almost the same time!

i posted here 3 days ago coz i was chuffed because just by cutting out the junk i'd lost 5lb!! well now 3 days later and about 7 days after cutting out the crap i'm down 11lb!!!!!!!! i cant believe it - purely by cutting out rubbish - absolutly no dieting at all so far! I dont even start till tomorrow lol am thinking i might just continue like this for a bit until i stop loosing and then when i need to kick start the metabolism i'll start using the slimming world plan!
I'm sooo happy today and almost a stone lighter than this time last week!!

11lbs just from cutting out the crap is fantastic! You must be well chuffed I started off like that a bit before Christmas, cutting out the rubbish and eating a lot more whole foods like cous cous, seeds and nuts etc. I did fairly well on it (not as well as you though!) before the chocolate and butter started to slide back in and that's when I changed over to the SW plan too.

If you're enjoying it, not feeling deprived and it's working, then it's worth carrying on with it for a while longer

I think I have a scanner somewhere as I have loads of hideous very fat photos. I am not good at computers. I have put on four pounds since Christmas, apparently I don't look any different but I can still feel it. I was at tall as I was wide.

Trousers I am a size 10 but I still get size 12 in jeans but they are often loose on the hips. Tops I get a size 12. Thank you for your kind words.
