Default Binge-Free Week, March 5th Start

Good morning gals (and guys!)

I'm with Meg-had a "rough" weekend but I won't call it a full-on binge, made some bad choices, but didn't get uncomfortably full or overdo it too much. In fact, last night, DH and I both were fiending for a certain fast food, we talked about it forEVER, I even had my shoes on ready to go get it, but stopped myself....YAY me, I never have that kind of control! Well, and I've gotta tell you, I started planning a full on binge, if I was going to go get the one certain fast food, I had in my mind that I was going to hit one or two other drive thrus and just get it over with. So I'm pleased that I stopped myself....even DH offered to run and I was like NO ! I'LL GO! Still so happy I didn't go!

So the weekend behind us, we're back on track this week. I'll call this my ONE WEEK anniversary, since I re-committed one week ago today. My stumblings this weekend weren't enough to derail me...yet. Maybe I'm on here just to get the support I need not to fall off the fence...I feel like I'm teetering. I've just gotta get to the gym today, I think a killer workout will be what I need. What does it for you? A good workout? Getting all your water in?

ONE WEEK BINGE FREE---lets do it! One week, one day, one hour at a time if you need.....

Hi All!
I'm in with you again Michelle! I am feeling so, so, so positive about this week! I have had 3 wonderful days and am working on my fourth. I think I have worked out some of my binge triggers. I am eating more at breakfast, which is keeping me from getting too hungry later in the day. I don't know about the rest of you, but my binges always start with me being REALLY hungry and sort of panicking about what to eat...then I just keep going...
Michelle- GREAT work on stopping the binge! That is such a great feeling when you take control over the food instead of the other way around! As you resist those urges, I think it becomes easier to come up with strategies for avoiding them. So, keep up the good work!
That's all for now. Let's help each other do this!

Hey guys I'm in.

Saturday was a near-binge. I overate without a doubt, but I didn't overeat because of bad feelings. I've been doing really good with avoiding food, and keeping busy when I get my restless/lonely/bored feelings...

Anyway I'm really looking forward to this week because I think I'm gonna do really well. I've begun calorie and fiber counting, so I hoping it will work out and I can keep up with it.

My goal for this week is to not overeat at all, keeping an eye on myself on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday... Since those are usually my big binge nights.

Good luck to you all and hopefully we'll all be posting about how we made our goals.

Default 2 months binge-free

Hello everybody! I hope that you're all doing well!

I'm just loving the control over my appetite/binges that being on a low-carb diet gives me! It's been 2 MONTHS since my last binge! My previous "record" was only about 5 days, so I'm thrilled by this milestone!

I hope that you all have great, binge-free weeks!

Hello friends! I'm still here, still PRETTY MUCH on board. I've made some questionable food choices but I haven't been full to the point of pain. Which to me is the definition of "binge." Exercise-wise I've done AWESOME at the gym but food-wise, well I'm trying just to keep my head above water. This weekend should be good for me, I work this weekend so no bowling/beer/pizza LOL....How are the rest of you doing?

Ok, after reading yours, I will start tonight with the goal of no binging. That is my main problem, binging. I hate it but can't stop......I eat and get full at supper, then comes the rounds of eating anything I can find. Tonight I am gonna just eat supper, then nothing else if it kills me!! Wish me luck.

I'm new here and just wanted to say that just reading all of your messages about wanting to binge but not binging, making bad food choices but not going all the way to "broke"...how inspiring it is for me just to know you all are out there fighting the same fight. next time i feel like binging i may just pop up here...also, i love the idea of making a formal commitment here that you're going to set a goal for a binge-free week!

I'm happy to report I'm on my fourth binge free day. I'm starting to realize how much extra time and energy I have now that I am not wasting it on binging. The weekends are always a struggle for me but I am determined to stay on track.
