Default Just starting Today

I just wanted to stop in and say hey. This is my second time starting weightwatchers, however this is the first time I am doing it without the meetings. I look forward to getting to everyone here!

HI Britt
Im doing the same thing you are. I am 5'6" and 183, I lost about 14 pds off going to meetings, then I hit a hard plateu and stopped going. Paying 11 a week was not working I guess..so I followed it at home..Then I quit smoking, gained it all back, but that's it..no more thank god..but I feel most comfortable at a realistic 160pds. I am larger boned and not dainty, so I do believe 160 should work..I have been focusing on cardio exercise, most recently bought an eliptical trainer..I am trying to do 40 min 5 days a week, and hope to jog soon after the 2 feet of snow disappears. I am having a hard time totally sticking to pts because some things I eat at work, I am not sure exactly how to count pts out..I am working with the ww cook books tho, that helps. Anyhow, Im look for someone else who has a stubburn metabolizm like I do. I have been working like a dog for 3+ weeks now and the fat is turning to muscle, I think, but the scale is stuck..so, the metabolizm is slow to budge. I feel more muscle, so I know it's working..but slow..I am hoping 1 of these weeks, the scale will be down, alot!

Welcome Britt......I'm doing WW online as well since it's hard for me to be able to go to the meetings with a baby. But good luck!

I started on the Monday after you (5th). My first weigh-in at home tomorrow. I'm doing the online WW, not being able to attend the meetings due to work commitments.

Looking forward to losing the "baggage" hehe

I started yesterday and am also doing it at home because I commute and can't make it to meetings on a regular basis.

I'm 139 right now and my goal weight is 116 (though I might be happy at a higher weight -- I guess I'll know when the time is right!).

Hello everyone,
Alright so, everyone one around me is doing WW, which I have done in the past, So I think I am gonna start tomorrow which will be wed. but I dont wait until Mon. I need to start weeks ago.
It's so strange everyone I have been talking to about weight loss is doing WW, since I have the older flex I am going to use my stuff see if I can do it @ home.
I will need lots of TLC though!! J/k
But doing it by myself I will need lots of support from the folks on here!
I would love to join all you thats just getting started, if ya dont mind??

Amy

Have you checked out the online program. Its really inexpensive and so niiiicee..... I love it. So easy to use. I really feel like seeing it, not just writing it down really hold me accountable. I have just started the online program but I did La weight loss online prior and this one rocks.

I like doing everything online because it fits better into my day. I don't have the time to got to meetings and can't really afford to do them either so online works better.
