Default My first "goal".....

I am new here and just wanted to post my first goal. It may seem small to most but it will be HUGE to me. I weigh anywhere from *gasp..I NEVER post this online or even TALK about it to anyone* 193-200 pounds depending on the time of day it seems. I've weighed this for what feels like forever. I had my second daughter in Nov 05 and haven't been able to get below this since. I go in spurts "trying" and not caring. Well, now I care and I've had enough. I KNOW I can do it but something has got to give.

Anyway, my goal is to be below 190 by March. I just want to be out of that 190-200 range and don't want to ever see it again. Once I hit the 180s I'll refocus and get to the larger goal.

I need your HELP!

Great to hear from you. Goals help. Don't beat yourself up if you don't make the goal. Sometimes we lose quickly at first and then slowly. Exercise and good healthy foods are the key. Hope to hear more from you.

Hey! Glad to see you here.

Always weigh (and record) at the same time of day--sometimes that helps with the fluctuations. But they will still be there! We all have this happen.

Good luck to you in getting down below 190. We'll be rooting for you!

What is your plan?

Jay

Welcome to the site! You'll find that there is a wealth of information and support here. I think you are doing a smart thing in establishing smaller goals at first - if you think of the whole picture, it can seem kind of daunting, but by breaking it up in to smaller chunks, it becomes very achievable. Good luck with reaching your first goal!

I feel like I'm in the same boat as you. I'm also new here and I've been in the 190-200 range for most of the last few years. I can't wait to dip below the 190 mark. Over the last 6 weeks I have increased my exercise routine and watched my calorie intake and lost a few pounds. Hopefully the 180's are just around the corner for the both of us. Keep thinking positively.
