Default Hello everyone, New to this site

Hello to all,

I am new to this site, I just read about it in the March Issue of the O Magazine. I will turn 40 in March and want this to be a great year, I know that people view getting old as a bad thing but I would like to change my attitude about life and start looking forward to life instead of dreading it. Since Jan 2nd 2007, I have tried to work out at least 3-5 days a week, not on weekends. I have been successful with working out no less than 3 days since I started. My goal is to run the Turkey Trot in November in Buffalo, NY it is a 4.9mile race. My basic goal is to feel healthy and be comfortable in my clothes. I am a Wife, Mother of 5 Children and an part-time employee. My biggest challenge is staying on track with trying to eat healthy, as well as making time for me to exercise. I am excited to be a part of this community, because I could use some support on this journey.

I am also new to this site! I will be 31 in June. I have a two year old. My husband and I do plan on me getting pregnant this year. I would like to loose some weight before I get pregnant again. Of course I know I won't make it to goal before, but any pounds shed will be great! I have tried many other diets. I just recently stopped Weight Watchers. I felt like I was following the plan, but I did not see results as my friends are. Now I am searching for some type of weight loss plan. Not sure what it will be, any suggestions is helpful! I was diagnoses with PCOS before getting pregnant with my son. I know low carb diets help with this condition, I am just not sure which one is best.
