Default 30 Somethings Chat: Weekend Feb 17/18

Happy Weekend, Ladies.

I'm kinda in a blah mood. I was hoping to get outside, but with temperatures exceeding -18C (around 0F) with the wind chill, it's not quite the best time to be going for a stroll in the park. DW and I will likely hit the mall just so I'm not sitting on my tail all day anyway.

Anyway, hope everyone else has a good weekend and hopefully I'll take the time to post tomorrow.

Take care!

RX, I think it is the weather that has you and me in a blah mood. It is snowing yet again here, and I don't even want to think about shoveling it. (of course we have a snowblower ~ but I don't know how to use it)

Will post later, have a great weekend everyone.

So, I didn't buy a treadmill yesterday. I'm having a hard time committing so much money into something that I'm afraid that I just won't use and it'll become a very expensive clothes rack. Also, a little bit of fiscal responsibility kicked in and I have this nagging bit that's bugging me that there are other things that I really should be spending my money on - like paying down some debt and working on the basement some more.

So, I've decided to put it off for at least another week and think a little more about it.

Yesterday, did exactly what I thought we would. DW and I walked the local malls for the better part of the day and then took in a movie later in the afternoon. Ate a whole ton of junk because I was in such a blah mood - I really wish I could shake that behaviour....

Anyway, talk tomorrow. Have a great day all.

RXZ - dont worry...yesterday was a bad day for me too. Work was crappy...had a crazy client and we have longer hours now...work until 2 insted of noon. So it was 7.5 hrs straight with no break...stressed out and started stress eating...including coke and chips and then when i got home, i stressed more and had a bowl of ice cream. Then for dinner we were going out with friends and were suppose to go to a nice resturant where i could have gotten a healthy grilled fish. When we got there the place said an hour wait...ok..no prob. An hour turned into almost 2 and the place couldn't really tell us "how much longer" so we gave up and went next door to the mexican resturant...my weakness...so much for eating anything healthy. I feel like a fat bloated pig from eating a lot of mexican at 9pm. oh well. hopefully today will be better. good luck all. maybe you'll be better than me!

Hi All,

Winter definitely puts me in a blah mood. DH & I went out for Vday dinner last night, to Lone Star Steakhouse. I was good, aside from the Texas Rose, I got a 12 oz. strip steak and steamed veggies. The veggies looked soo yummy, but they were seasoned with dill and I hate dill. I couldn't even eat them! If it was just a little bit, I could've, but it was strong. Steak was kind of fatty too, had to cut around a lot. So we went to BJ's to get some stuff for this week and walk around, then went home. It was nice to get out for a little bit together, kid-free.

Have a great day all!
